Short Biography of Christos Stavropoulos
Christos Stavropoulos was born in Athens of Attica. He is a municipal policeman having got university education. His training in martial arts started since his teens with Kiokushinkai Karate and afterwards was trained in Shaolin Nan-Chuan kung fu and Shaolin Chi-Kung.
His teaching activity began by teaching self-defence as a reserve officer in the Special Forces of the army. Then he taught Shaolin Nan- Chuan and Chi-Kung, especially in the city of Ioannina but also in Arta.
At the moment, after training and studying from Master Tang Tung Wing, he teaches Shaolin Nan-Chuan, Choi Mok Pai and Chen Tai Chi Chuan at his own school which is located in Ioannina, Bizaniou 24A, and he is consequently a member of Tang's International Chinese Kung Fu Assosiation and also a member of Hong Kong Choi Mok Pai Kung Fu Association . Moreover, he has been trained in Liuhe Tanglang Quan style and he has got 5 Duan Wushu Kung Fu, certified by the “Chinese Federation Wushu’. In addition, the Shaolin Kung Fu Chineese Assosiation of Ioannina is a member of the "Greek Wushu Kung-Fu Assosiation".
Also, he took part in the 5th World Championship of Wushu-Kung Fu, as an athlete of the Hellenic Federation Wushu-Kung Fu, which took place in Honk Kong from 22/08/2010 until 25/08/2010, with the participation of over 2.500 athletes from many countries of the five continents, and he was awarded two gold medals by getting two first victories in two traditional shade-fights of fists and weapons (an unarmed form of Choi Mok Pai and a form of spear).
Sifu Christos Stavropoulos is also dealing with the promotion and the teaching of potential sport Sanshou-Sanda, according to the context of education of the" Greek Wushu - Kung Fu Association ".
At the end of the World Championship, sifu Christos Stavropoulos, being recognised for his level of knowledge and skills in Kung Fu martial arts, gave exams in “Chinese Wushu Assotiation” for the degree of the 5th Duan. Finally, he often publishes articles and he gives interviews about self-defence, training and the martial art of Kung Fu in newspapers, television – radio stations, he has taken part in demonstrations and he teaches seminars as well.
Short biography of Giorgos Apostolopoulos
Georgios Apostolopoulos was born in Patra. He grew up in Mesologgi of Etoloakarnania. He studied the science of medicine and he works as a doctor.
His training in martial arts started with Shotokan Karate. Then, during the period of his studies, he was trained in Shaolin Nan Chuan and Choi Mok Pai under the teaching of sifu Christos Stavropoulos and he became his private student.
Now he is the owner of 3 Duan, certified by the “Chinese Wushu Federation” and he is a training assistant at his master’s school in Ioannina. Except from Shaolin Nan Chuan and Choi Mok Pai he has been taught Liuhe Tangiang Quan and Chen Tai Chi Chuan (with the recognition of Master Tang Tung Wing).
He also took part in the 5th World Championship of Wushu-Kung Fu, as an athlete of the Hellenic Wushu-Kung Fu Federation, which took place in Honk Kong of China from 22/08/2010 until 25/08/2010, with the partcipation of over 2.500 athletes from many countries and he was awarded two gold medals by getting two first victories in two different categories of contest : Choi Mok Pai and Shaolin Nan Chuan spear.
Finally, Georgios Apostolopoulos is also occupied with the medical and traditional Chinese acupuncture, having got a diploma in curative acupuncture recognized and certified by the European and Hellenic Certification by the State, certfied by the ICMART – International Council of Medical Acupuncture and Related Techniques, and also certfied by the Beijing College of Acupuncture and Orthopedics, a section of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
